During Prime Minister's Questions this week, Richard raised with Rishi Sunak the concerns of residents about the lack of progress with the Biggleswade Health Hub.
Speaking after his question, Richard Fuller MP said:
Last week our local NHS put the hub “on ice” even though Conservative controlled Central Bedfordshire Council stand ready to invest millions to redevelop the site for a range of GP and other primary care services.
All is not lost and I wanted the Prime Minister’s support to “knock heads together” between the various parts of the NHS to get the Health Hub built.
The Prime Minister was alert to the problem and tasked his Ministerial team to provide support in these efforts.
I am particularly grateful to Richard Wenham, the Conservative leader of Central Bedfordshire Council for his unstinting support for this much wanted local Health improvement.
