Richard was extremely saddened to learn of the death of Cllr Stephen Moon on Friday. Stephen was the Bedford Borough Councillor for Great Barford Ward and former Conservative Group Leader.

Stephen Moon was a smart, ethical and socially minded man that I was fortunate to know as a friend for many years. He combined a forensic attention to the detail in any discussion with a dry wit and a great sense of fun.
I will miss his counsel and his ease with dealing with the stresses of modern times.
My thoughts, love and prayers are with Stephen’s family.
