This week, Richard cut the ribbon and officially opened the Post Office in the Nisa store in Arlesey Church End, which has restored Post Office services to two neighbouring communities – Arlesey Church End and Arlesey.
Richard Fuller, MP for North East Bedfordshire, said:
A Post Office is back in Arlesey and I was honoured to join Postmaster Adi Balachandran and his family at the official opening of the Post Office on Wednesday.
The store has been run by the family for almost 20 years with Adi taking up the reins from his uncle and aunt who ran the store from 2004. With his excellent staff and Adi's commitment to serving the community, the addition of Post Office services will be an excellent resource for the people of Arlesey in the years to come.
Arlesey Post Office offers wide range of Post Office services including posting letters and parcels and collecting and returning online shopping items. Customers will also be able to use a wide range of banking services including cash withdrawals and balance enquiries for customers of all the main UK banks. The branch is open throughout the store’s opening hours.
