At the start of the month, Richard opened the Tempsford Village Show at the kind invitation of Parish Council Chair, David Sutton.
The opening was held at the Stuart Memorial Hall, which on the following day was also celebrating 100 years since the foundation stone for the hall was laid. The hall was built by the Stuart family in memory of their only child, Esme, who died in the First World War and in memory of the fourteen other Tempsford men killed in the Great War. The foundation stone was laid on 8th September 1924 and the hall was presented to the village on 27th July 1925.
Speaking afterwards, Richard Fuller MP said:
It was great to see so much going on at the village show and so many people having such a great time.
It was also an honour to be part the village celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Stuart Memorial Hall the following day.
