Larksfield surgery

Earlier this week, Richard met with the practice manager of Larksfield and Arlesey Medical Partnership to receive an update on the progress which has been made at the surgery recently. Following a number of changes earlier this year, Richard was contacted by a number of concerned residents in Stotfold and Arelesey about the availability of primary care in the area and he has met with representatives of the Surgery on a number of occasions recently.

The most recent update from Richard on previous meetings is here: An update on Larksfield Surgery in Stotfold | Richard Fuller

Over recent months, the surgery has recruited new staff and rolled out its new online triage service last month, which dealt with more than 2,500 patient enquiries in its first two weeks.

Last month, three new GPs began as well as a new Nurse Practitioner. The surgery now has seven GPs (which is equivalent to five full time GPs) as well as a number of other clinical staff such as paramedics and nurses. Following the meeting, Richard Fuller said:

It was good to hear more about the expansion of the clinical team at Larksfield. The addition of new GPs and other clinical staff, combined with the successful roll-out of the online tri-age system is making a difference to the delivery of primary care services in Stotfold and Arlesey. After a difficult few months, I was pleased to learn more about these developments and to see the progress being made.
