Richard's last town hall public meeting took place in Shortstown. Speaking afterwards, he said:
Thank you to everyone who came along to my town hall meeting in Shortstown. It was good to see such a strong turnout.
A number of topics were discussed, including Universal, Bedford Borough Council's emerging Local Plan and planning applications around Shortstown, as well as Bedford town centre and local transport.
These meetings are an important opportunity for me to hear directly from residents about the issues affecting them. Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend and share their views.
My next public meeting is at Everton Village Hall on the 6th of November at 6pm and I hope to see some of you there!
