Richard recently held a town hall meeting at Sandy Conservative Club.
Speaking afterwards, he said:
A fabulous turnout for my recent 'town hall' meeting in Sandy. Many thanks to everyone who took the time to come along and participate in a wide-ranging, and at times challenging, debate on a number of issues.
As your Member of Parliament, I believe it is a critical part of my role to be accessible to constituents through surgeries and town hall meetings. I also find such meetings extremely useful, both for me to hear direct feedback on local and national issues, but also to have my views challenged and debated in the room.
I conduct a town hall meeting every month and try to get around the constituency as much as possible, however with over fifty parishes and towns in North Bedfordshire it's difficult to reach all areas with the frequency I would like. I also conduct at least one drop-in, one appointment and one online surgery each month, so if you have a concern you'd like to raise or an issue I may be able to help with, please see my website for details of upcoming events: https://www.richardfuller.co.uk/surgeries
Richard's next town hall meeting is taking place at 7pm on Thursday 22nd May at Broom Village Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend.
