Richard Fuller MP addressing resident in Wyboston village hall

Richard's last 'town hall' meeting was held at Wyboston Village Hall. Speaking afterwards he said:

I was very pleased with the excellent turnout at my recent 'town hall' meeting in Wyboston village hall, and was delighted that Bedford Borough Mayor, Tom Wootton and Cllr Sharan Sira were also able to join me.

We had a good-natured but impassioned debate covering a range of issues but most particularly, the twin threats of East West Rail and a proposed new town at Tempsford, as well as the damage being caused to the local road network as a result of Black Cat traffic diversions. On the latter, I have already spoken to National Highways about this serious issue and both they, and the Mayor, have committed to working in tandem to forge a plan to improve the roads in the short and longer terms.

Richard's next town hall meeting is taking place at 7pm on Thursday 19 March at Cardington Village Hall and Reading Rooms. All constituents are welcome to come and put their questions to Richard about national or local issues.
