On Saturday, Richard Fuller MP joined in with the fun at the Harrold Pit Run, which has been going since 1983 and was set up to provide a great day for locals and visitors and help raise money for village charities.
Money is raised through sponsorship of runners in various races and through stalls holders and many attractions on The Village Green.
Speaking after the event, Richard said:
The Pit Run in Harrold is a St George’s Day fixture and I was happy to join local residents to see the runs and meet with local Councillor Alison Field Foster and with St George himself, the official starter for the races.
