Last Sunday, Richard attended the Civic Service at St Andrew's Church in Biggleswade. The civic service has previously been a closed event by invitation only, but this year Mayor, Grant Fage, opened it up to the community.

The theme of the Biggleswade Civic Service this year was “Belonging”.
The Mayor of Biggleswade, Grant Fage, gave a truly wonderful speech about his passion for the town, and the Bishop of Bedford reminded us of the deeper meaning of “welcome”.
In a year when many Biggleswade families have opened their homes to families from Ukraine and elsewhere, it was a truly inspiring service.
