On Saturday, Richard was at the annual Young Farmers Rally and County Show which. this year, took place in Stagsden and was hosted by the Bedford and District Club.
Speaking afterwards, Richard Fuller MP said:
It was a real pleasure to attend the Bedfordshire Young Farmers Rally in my constituency on Saturday and see such a fantastic turnout. What a great showcase of the energy, commitment, and community spirit that young people bring to our rural areas.
It was great to visit the stands, catch up with so many people and to have such good conversations on the NFU stand.
There are real concerns about the direction of government support for farming but despite this, it’s clear that its future is in capable hands with this next generation of farmers.
