On Saturday, Richard joined Young Farmers from across Bedfordshire for the annual Rally, which took place in North East Bedfordshire.

I spent a wonderful day at the Bedfordshire Young Farmers Rally and Country Show at Manor Farm, Pertenhall. We were fortunate with the weather which helped to attract great numbers to the rally and everyone seemed to be having a fabulous time enjoying the wide range of activities taking place.
I'm very grateful to County President, Ian Morton, for showing me round, and to all of the judges who took time from their duties to explain the various categories of competition and what they were looking for in the winners.
Congratulations to Leighton Buzzard Young Farmers who came out on top as overall winners and well done to North Beds Young Farmers and particularly the Bates family for hosting the event so well.
