Earlier this month, Richard enjoyed celebrating a significant anniversary of Shuttleworth College and learning about 80 of agricultural education.
Speaking afterwards, he said:
I was delighted to be invited to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Shuttleworth College and to join staff, students, alumni and supporters in marking this significant milestone.
It was fascinating to take a journey through the College’s history, seeing how it has evolved since 1946 while continuing to provide students with the skills and modern facilities they need to succeed. Shuttleworth has played an important role in our community for generations and it was wonderful to reflect on its achievements.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising such a special event and to the talented Catering students from Central Bedfordshire College for the fantastic afternoon tea.
