Richard appeared on the October edition of Anglia's Late Edition with Emma Hutchinson.
Summarising the points discussed, Richard Fuller MP said:
On the show, we spoke about welfare savings. Following the inability of the Prime Minister and Chancellor to convince Labour backbenchers of the need for even the most modest of savings to the Welfare budget, Kemi Badenoch recently offered to support the Government to identify and legislate for meaningful savings. Speaking on the Late Edition I detailed where £23billion of savings could be found.
I also outlined why the Conservative policy of scrapping stamp duty would be such a popular move and would also have a positive impact on the economy.
And I congratulated the Speaker for taking steps to drive awareness and provide options for MPs to improve their levels of protection. I reiterated the importance of regular, personal interaction with constituents, which is why I continue to hold town hall meetings and drop-in surgeries across my constituency where all are welcome.
