On Thursday evening, Richard was one of the politician guests on Anglia TV's Late Edition, which is broadcast monthly on ITV.
Speaking afterwards, Richard Fuller said:
We had a good discussion on Anglia's Late Edition this month covering a range of topics that were high on the news agenda.
We talked about the potential New Town at Tempsford and I highlighted the fact that my constituency has already seen housing growth far greater than the national average and the strain on public services has been acute as a result. Any developments in the East of my constituency, notwithstanding the flooding issues in that area, need to be subject to a commitment to infrastructure first.
We also discussed Keir Starmer's visit to a house building site in Milton Keynes that was cut short by farmers protesting against the Family Farm Tax and the Prime Minister's subsequent comments. Sir Keir Starmer is either completely ignorant about his Family Farm Tax, or is simply perpetuating his government's strategy of creating a false narrative to justify their cruel and ideologically-driven policies.
The conversation moved on to the enquiry into the murder of David Amess and the failures of the Prevent programme in that instance. Sadly, this has been a recurring theme recently and it's increasing clear that programme needs a major overhaul to ensure it's fulfilling its purpose and helping to keep us all safe.
