Richard has received notification from the National Highways A428 Black Cat to Caxton Gibbet about more upcoming road closures on the A421 over the weekend of Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December.
The A421 will be closed in both directions between Renhold and Black Cat roundabout from 6am Saturday 7 December to 5am Sunday 8 December 2024 to continue building the new Roxton Road bridge over the A421. Now that the beams are securely in place, the next step is to pour concrete for the bridge deck which will form the base for the bridge's new surface.
Richard Fuller MP said:
We have seen this diversion before so I will be interested to see if implementation is improved following the feedback provided to National Highways last time.
