This year the annual Bedfordshire Festival of Autumn Walks will run from September 6th to 14th.

The festival is hosted by Bedfordshire Ramblers (part of the National Ramblers Charity) who, together with a number of other organisations, put together 9 days of walking activities for anyone who wants to participate. With very few exceptions, the walks/activities are free and do not require booking.

Last year, the festival delivered 55 events with over 850 people taking part. The events offered something for everyone - circular countryside walks, local history & interest walks, nature walks, a sail and walk with the John Bunyan Community Boat and Wellness walks to encourage the public to start walking with shorter walks.

Visit the website at https://www.bedswalkfest.co.uk/ to see what's planned locally.
