As The National Lottery celebrates it's 30th anniversary, we can reflect on what a tremendous success story it has been, raising £50 billion for good causes, funding 700,000 projects, awarding £95 billion in prizes to winners, delivering £21.4 billion to HM Treasury in Lottery Duty and earning retailers £8 billion in sales commission.

Richard Fuller MP said:

Specifically to us locally, North Bedfordshire has received £20,218,938 of National Lottery funding across 626 projects since is began 30 years ago. That ranges from local sports teams, artistic groups and heritage projects to vital community initiatives helping those most at need.
