On Tuesday, Will Quince, the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Education with responsibility for Children and Families, and Richard Fuller, MP for North East Bedfordshire, visited the Academy of Central Bedfordshire, an alternative provision (AP) school.
Richard Fuller MP, said:
Good to see Education Minister, Will Quince, in Bedfordshire on Tuesday and particularly focusing on alternative provision.
We had an excellent presentation by the Co-Headteachers of the Academy of Central Bedfordshire (ACB), which was reflected in the very supportive comments from the students there.
ACB’s record is well ahead of its peers in other parts of the country and it was encouraging to hear the leadership team say they still want to do even better. I’m sure the Minister will have been impressed by his visit.
