Views over East Park Energy proposed site

The next important deadline is coming up for anyone registered as an Interested Party with the Planning Inspectorate on East Park Solar: Tuesday 7 April.

These are some of the actions you can take:

  • If you spoke at the hearings, submit your oral representation in writing. If you were ‘cut off’ on the day because of timing issues, make sure you submit the full original representation you’d planned
  • Comment on any of the representations made at the hearings, including what the developer’s consultants said – even if you weren’t able to attend or speak
  • Suggest places the Planning Inspector should see when he tours the proposed site, including important views or landscapes, traffic or accident hotspots, issues at existing solar sites or any local impacts you want highlighted
  • Summarise your Relevant Representation if it was longer than 1,500 words and submit your new summary.

You can also:

  • Comment on other Relevant Representations or any other submissions
  • Submit a longer Written Representation that builds on your original Relevant Representation (plus a summary if your new Written Representation is longer than 1,500 words)

All your submissions should be made on the Planning Inspectorate’s Have Your Say page.

You can find the hearings films and transcripts in the Inspectorate’s Documents library at https://national-infrastructure-consenting.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/projects/EN010141/documents
