Richard recently spoke at an assembly during Democracy Week addressing students at St James' CE Primary School in Biddenham. National Democracy Week, established in 2018, provides an opportunity to champion and encourage greater democratic participation across the country.
Richard Fuller MP said:
St James’ hold their school council elections during Democracy Week and I was delighted to attend the school assembly where the winners were announced and to give my congratulations to them, and also to all the other children who had put their names forward.
I know how scary it can be to stand up in front of people and make a speech, which all of them did.
I am sure the new representatives will do an excellent job.
