A1 northbound and A421 eastbound road closures this weekend and next week

National Highways have published details of road closures on the A1 northbound and A421 this weekend.

The roads will be closed from 9pm Friday 11th to 5am Monday 14th September 2026 for drainage works and they will be closed overnight (9pm to 5am) from Monday 14th to Friday 18th September 2026 for temporary barrier removal and road markings.

The affected roads are:

  • 🚧  A1 northbound between Tempsford and Wyboston.
  • 🚧  A421 eastbound between Renhold and Black Cat junction.
